Our Approach to Children’s Bracing

When designing custom bracing for children, we use a team approach, in order to provide a comprehensive solution. Our team includes the referring physician, a physical and occupational therapist, an orthotist, the parents, and of course the child — the most important member of the team.

Braces for children can be fit for any part of the body, but are most commonly for the lower extremities, such as the ankle or the knee. We can also help personalize the brace to help it become an accepted part of a child’s rehabilitation. Learn more about common braces or orthoses below.
